In relation to the flashing news, “nursing” or “nurse”, I would like to share to you something happened to me today. But, before that, let me congratulate again all the passer of Nursing Licensure Exam June-July 2012! “Congratulations!:) Your professional life and real challenge has just begun!!

So this morning, there’s a patient who greeted me and approached me. She said “Oy!” with a smiling face:) and me, looking like ??? “Kilala ko ba siya? ah baka classmate ko dati. parang ndi. long lost friend? I really cant remember.-_-” Yes, Im clueless, but I smiled back. Which I think she noticed that I cant remember her. and so she told me how we met. She said that I was one of the nurses who attended when she gave birth to her fraternal twins, boy and girl. Ako pa nga daw nag-interview sa kaniya, and siya daw iyong nanganak na una ung buttocks ng isa and we were like worried pa nga daw. Actually, she’s with one of the twins - a three year old girl. THREE?? I was suprised at first. Ganun na katagal un! and this woman still remember me after all those years na ndi na niya ako nakita after that and I’m not anymore working on the hospital where she gave birth. I thought maybe I have done something good to her. Hehe! Then I smiled again. Nangamusta. :) After the lil chat, somehow, her story is coming back to my mind. I felt very happy! :) Nurses, I know you know how I felt that time. Its not the first time but this kind of moment is always worth sharing. Nakakawala ng pagod. Nagiging worth it iyong pagod nun kahit matagal na. And most of all, I am more inspired and motivated to be the nurse that I want.

Nurses, let us not forget that our patient has feeling aside from the pain why s/he is infornt of you. She will most probably remember you on how you make her feel good despite of the pain, than on how you dress his/her wound.

Last March 24, 2012 me and my Seventeen Sigaw sister Kaiye attended a fashion workshop by Mr. David Guison and Ms. Lissa Kahayon at Il Terrazzo, Ariato Function Center. Im neither a fashionista nor a blogger but attending such workshop from DG and LK is super worth it! I have fun and learned plus the goodies.

LK mostly talked about styling, power dressing and posing, while DG was more into photography. They shown to us how they look like and how they started from this biz, so inspiring.

|Yey, happy heart here! i love goodies and freebies. Thank you!:) There’s more foodies and goodies aside from the photos. Certificate is included, sadly Lissa doesnt have signature on it.:(

Few lines from the workshop:

  • Work with what you have in your closet: reinvent, experiment or challenge. You don’t have to be a spender to get into fashion. You just have to be creative but appropriate. This made me UKays, clearance sale and tiangge love more.
  • It is important your comfortable with your outfit. A must.
  • In blogging, be consistent and patient. I badly need this.
  • In shopping, ask yourself if it will work on your closet. Make sure you can maximize the item you will buy. Stick to your budget. We know but we seldom apply. :|
  • Quality over quantity. Golden Rule.
  • Lastly, have fun and CONFIDENCE! :)

|Most of the photos were grabbed from Kaiye’s FB. Thank you Sis!♥

For those who don’t wander much in net, DG and LK are known bloggers and have done a lot of collaboration from different signature brands. :) You’ll be suprised with how they started, with their achievements, and how humble they are. Do you have that ‘Sayang!’ feeling inside?? No worries, I think there’s goin’ to be a second date for this workshop, go and sign up!:) send a mail to thelistgroup.events@gmail.com for inquiries. :)
