Last March 24, 2012 me and my Seventeen Sigaw sister Kaiye attended a fashion workshop by Mr. David Guison and Ms. Lissa Kahayon at Il Terrazzo, Ariato Function Center. Im neither a fashionista nor a blogger but attending such workshop from DG and LK is super worth it! I have fun and learned plus the goodies.

LK mostly talked about styling, power dressing and posing, while DG was more into photography. They shown to us how they look like and how they started from this biz, so inspiring.

|Yey, happy heart here! i love goodies and freebies. Thank you!:) There’s more foodies and goodies aside from the photos. Certificate is included, sadly Lissa doesnt have signature on it.:(

Few lines from the workshop:

  • Work with what you have in your closet: reinvent, experiment or challenge. You don’t have to be a spender to get into fashion. You just have to be creative but appropriate. This made me UKays, clearance sale and tiangge love more.
  • It is important your comfortable with your outfit. A must.
  • In blogging, be consistent and patient. I badly need this.
  • In shopping, ask yourself if it will work on your closet. Make sure you can maximize the item you will buy. Stick to your budget. We know but we seldom apply. :|
  • Quality over quantity. Golden Rule.
  • Lastly, have fun and CONFIDENCE! :)

|Most of the photos were grabbed from Kaiye’s FB. Thank you Sis!♥

For those who don’t wander much in net, DG and LK are known bloggers and have done a lot of collaboration from different signature brands. :) You’ll be suprised with how they started, with their achievements, and how humble they are. Do you have that ‘Sayang!’ feeling inside?? No worries, I think there’s goin’ to be a second date for this workshop, go and sign up!:) send a mail to thelistgroup.events@gmail.com for inquiries. :)

Last February 28-29, 2012, RN HEALS Batch III for Region 3 orientation (1st batch to deploy: Pampanga and Zambales) was held at King’s Royal Promenade Event Hall, Bacolor Pampanga. Luckily, Im part of it. The orientation includes the room accommodation and foods. But since I’m from Pampanga, and its just 45 minutes away from home, I chose to go home, and besides I wasn’t informed that we can stay for free. Loser but really I’m not interested to stay.

I was assigned to our municipality together with 4 girls, namely (L-R): Ate Rhea, Riza, Marlene - she’s my high school batchmate, and Mj (not in the picture above). I felt a bit oldie with this batch, like most of them ata are newly RN, but I guess no.

|the crowd.

The 1st day of the orientation was whole day. We filled up and submitted all the requirements needed step by step and together, and signed the contract. The contract, stipend and benefits were explained. Benefits are good - the gov’t will pay for our GSIS and Philhealth + stipend + certificate. There’s a possibility of getting absorb. I like the consistency of the schedule. Its from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Cons are we won’t be receiveing 13th month pay,  no sick leave and the like. Its a No Work, No Pay Basis. A corresponding deduction for tardiness and absents. Requirements: DTR and Journal every month and for the whole year, a community diagnosis. Simple rules, isn’t? Time to shake my head.

Second day was just a continuation of it and end up half day. Our job description and some of the important programs was discussed this day. Then picture taking, click! click! (Im still looking for a copy of the group picture for Pampanga, anyone?)

|2 photos above was taken in front of the Hall. The place is so nice, so Greeky or Roman, something like that. Lol. Wallpapers and big curtains inside.
